As a young Boy Scout, I earned my Truck Transportation merit badge and since then I’ve had an extreme fascination with the transportation industry.
I can’t say exactly what it is about the trucking industry that excites me, but to this day I am drawn to semi-trucks and anything they’re involved in. If you were to ask me as a teenager what career field I was going to pursue my answer would have been trucking and logistics. As I grew I determined that being a truck driver wasn’t for me due to the physical demands and time spent away from home (I always wanted a large family).
Shortly after I found my eternal companion I accepted a job in the Dallas, TX area selling semi-trailers. I then went on to build multiple tools for truck and trailer salespeople. I built this site to share my interest and excitement about the trucking industry. I’m not a truck driver, but having worked in the industry on and off again I’ve learned a great deal and love sharing my knowledge with others.
